Elias Darham is the founder and lead designer of O-AT, the Office for Architectural Technology, a comprehensive computational design studio based in Atlanta, Georgia.  Elias received a post-graduate degree in Architectural Technologies from SCI-Arc studying emergent systems, advanced robotics, and media. He received his Master of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 
He has served as an architectural research assistant with the Spatial Information and Architecture Laboratory at RMIT University, Melbourne, in tandem with his graduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was actively involved with the design team of the Sagrada Familia for over a year, working closely with Mark Burry on site in Barcelona and in Melbourne, Australia. He was responsible for the design of all pathways throughout the 110 meter Gloria Facade and Narthex Choir, as well as the determination of the appropriate tower profile based on point cloud data scans. 
He was the Graduate Initiatives Liaison and Influx Coordinator for the Rensselaer SoA Department of Publications. He has been awarded the Henry Adams AIA Certificate, the Harriet R. Peck Prize Nomination, the RPI Faculty Award for Service, the Norman Waxman Memorial Award, and the RPI Department Scholarship for Outstanding Students of Architecture. The Norman Waxman Memorial Award is presented to a graduate student for their selfless giving to Rensselaer.
 
Elias earned his Bachelor of Arts with concentration in Italian and Architecture from Bennington College, Bennington, Vermont where he was awarded the Arthur Becker ‘72 Scholarship, the Brockway Scholarship, and the Mary Bucksbaum Scanlan ‘91 Scholarship.
